This EP was made from scratch and mastered within 72 hours, in Hoi An, Vietnam / with a pair of Beyerdynamics (headphones) on a Lenovo laptop with Renoise and FL-Studio… A lot of coffee and Weed made this EP rather than me.
Samples and sounds are from my personal library of recordings, from amongst other: Serbia, Turkey, Nepal and a coffee shop called highlands coffee here in Vietnam.
Normally I would never spin out stuff like that for a proper production, but I feel the rapid contructipon of this EP have made a inherent consistency trough 30 minutes of sound that shouldn’t be tampered with. The overall theme of the EP is a derivation of my personal journey through the last 4 months, scooting around confused in the east parts of the world, where I found a strange insisting Irony witch I really would like to underline, is the mood of this EP. On this EP I resampled myself multiple times, in fragments and in long stretches, amongst other funny things, you might be able to hear the ‘fight recording’ from Uskudar in both ‘I am the acid Puppy’ and in ‘horror quest’.
