French algorithmic music composer Yan Terrien, born 1951, worked as a laser specialist for Iannis Xenakis’ electronic shows of the 1970s; He created a laser harp for Jean-Michel Jarre live shows in1993. He has worked as a creator of innovative show-control systems for several artists. He is also an algorithmic music composer.
On the album "Music For Corridors", compositions are successions of sounds like an endless walk in the corridors of a maze.
On his previous album, "Voicetronics", Yan Terrien experimented with weird pairings of spoken words by French philosophers and writers with catchy electronic rhythms and loops.
