Mastering work done by Benny Reibel:
Digital ideas over a 4k mile exchange of stems and samples by experimental drone artists Lcoma and Valiska.
Producing a 4 track split concentrating on the theme of architecture, blending guitar drones, glitches, noise and field recordings.
Lcoma (aka) Liam Coleman (b.1988) is an experimental artist from Liverpool, UK. At the age of 13, he developed an obsession with the guitar, that gradually degraded with time. Until he gained a particular interest in granular synthesis, the glitch aesthetic and laptop composition. The ability to input his guitar as data into a DSP chain, allowed him to explore new methods. That construct landscapes with a thirst for a unique sound. Almost everything you hear is processed guitar, fused together by field recording.
Valiska is the project of Calgary based musician Krzysztof Sujata. Started in early 2010, it brings together ambient, drone and noise music. The music took shape and inspiration from the environment, Calgary being a place of both a large city feel, and of a natural beauty: nature and city life coexisting, the beauty amongst the noise.
